Arthritis Knee Pain Centers Foundation Supporting Local Food Banks
Arthritis Knee Pain Centers (AKPC) is proud to announce the launch of the AKPC Foundation. The foundation was developed to lead Arthritis Knee Pain Centers’ philanthropic efforts through the financial support of established programs benefitting worthy causes, and through our employee’s volunteer efforts at altruistic community events.
“Our medical practices have always worked hard to be good neighbors in the communities in which we live and treat our patients,” said CEO John Rush, MD. “As we continue to expand, the foundation will allow us to organize our resources and make an even larger impact.”
The foundation will focus its efforts on improving the health and wellness of seniors, veterans, and the communities where our practices are located.
“We look forward to partnering with established charitable organizations and contributing to their good works on a local, state, and national level,” said AKPC Foundation’s Executive Director Teresa Jefferson. “The foundation is committed to providing our organization’s time, talents, and treasure to make our communities and our neighbors healthier.”
Committed to positive action for those in need, the foundation’s February public launch was celebrated with donations to local Feeding America food banks.
