At the Forefront of Arthritis Treatment
At Arthritis Knee Pain Centers - Columbia, we offer a comprehensive range of services to cater to your specific needs:
Viscosupplementation Gel Injections
Viscosupplementation knee injections have been a primary, non-surgical treatment option for osteoarthritis for years now. Our skilled doctors numb your skin with a topical spray, then inject a gel-like substance into the knee joint, effectively lubricating it and alleviating discomfort caused by osteoarthritis.
Knee Braces
for Arthritis
Knee braces are meant to provide support and stability, as well as offload and relieve pain associated with arthritis in the knees. We craft our custom-designed braces to be easily worn over or under clothing.
Genicular Artery Embolization
Genicular Artery Embolization is an amazing secondary treatment for those with residual knee pain. This non-surgical approach uses tiny, sterile beads injected to block abnormal arteries, reducing inflammation and relieving arthritis discomfort.
Advanced Orthopedic Back Braces
Many people who experience knee pain also have lower back pain. That is why we offer orthopedic back braces, which provide support and pain relief for various back conditions. These braces help to improve posture and reduce strain on your spine, resulting in less pain and more comfort.
The Importance
of Knee Health
Your knees are super important for just about everything you do, like walking around or even running in a marathon. Keeping your knees healthy is a big deal for feeling good all over.
Foundation of
Mobility
Having strong and healthy knees is key to moving around easily. They help you walk, run, and bend. If your knees are feeling good, you won’t have to worry about pain holding you back from doing the things you love!
Live An
Active Lifestyle
Being active is super important for staying healthy, especially as you get older. But if your knees hurt because of osteoarthritis, moving around can be really tough. Don’t worry, we’re here to help you get back to your active and fun lifestyle!
Daily
Independence
The ability to move around means you can do more by yourself. Think about how many times you go up stairs, pick up items, or stand up from a seated position. You probably do these things a lot! When your knees are healthy, you can keep doing all these things on your own, which is pretty awesome.
Joint
Protection
When your knees are strong, it means you’re not putting too much pressure on other parts of your body, like your hips and ankles. Strong knees can have a ripple effect on other joints, and help to prevent injury.
Adventures
for a Lifetime
Whether you’re off seeing the world or making special memories at home, having healthy knees helps you do all that with more confidence. You’ll be ready for all sorts of adventures, big or small!
Proactive
Measures
If you start taking care of your knee health now, you can stop knee problems before they even start. Just think of all the places your knees will take you in your lifetime.
Better
Quality of Life
You’ll feel more comfortable and happy when your knees are in good shape. That means you can enjoy life even more. Remember, life’s all about having fun, and healthy knees help you do just that!
