Stella R. Staley, MD

Dr. Stella Staley is a highly experienced Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician with nearly 40 years of medical practice. Originally from Georgetown, Kentucky, she earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown College before obtaining her medical degree from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

Dr. Staley completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky, with much of her training proudly spent caring for veterans at the VA Medical Center. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Physicians and Surgeons, reflecting her commitment to the highest standards of medical care.

Throughout her career, Dr. Staley has gained extensive experience across a wide range of medical disciplines, including Private Practice in Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, and Geriatrics. From the days when house calls were a regular part of practice to today’s rapidly changing medical landscape, she has remained deeply committed to the well-being of her patients.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Staley enjoys a variety of hobbies, including traveling, dog training, and tackling DIY projects around her home.

John Rush MD

John J. Rush, MD

Dr. John J. Rush is a highly accomplished physician and healthcare executive with a passion for advancing innovative, patient-centered care. He earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio, and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. Dr. Rush also holds both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As the Chief Medical Officer and owner of 17 medical practices operating as Arthritis Knee Pain Centers (AKPC), Dr. Rush leads the nation’s largest network dedicated to nonsurgical, nonopioid treatments for osteoarthritis of the knee. Under his leadership, AKPC has become a national leader in providing innovative, evidence-based knee pain relief without the need for surgery or addictive medications.

In 2020, Dr. Rush and the AKPC senior management team founded the AKPC Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting the communities served by AKPC practices, reflecting their commitment to making a positive impact beyond the clinic walls.
